Hi, I am looking to buy a naked / hairless rat. Does anyone have a contact or know where I can get buy one?

I am waiting for a shipment of imported rats, they will contain hairless. Keep an eye on this forum, I will post here when they arrive. You might have to wait a bit though - this is a LONG process!

I'm an avid rat fan and have kept them for about 17 years. Are you importing hairless rats Lily? I would do anything for a hairless rat... Where are you in SA?

Hi Polly

Yes we are bringing in hairless, dumbo, rex, and some colors that we dont get here. I am in Pretoria. It will still be a while before they get here - unexpected delays - but the stock we are importing are from England and the USA. I will keep you up to date - will post on this forum once the babies are here!

I know you're probably all avid rat lovers, but I just dont see the appeal in a hairless rat?!

They must not look very cute!

http://www.skyclyde.com/HairlessandCarriers.html the ones marked as 'on hold for connie' are some of the hairless and hairless carrier rats coming over sometime this year.

They are very cute. Wait till you see a dumbo eared rat though, or a rex (curly fur and whiskers)

Each to their own I guess
